F-tone Networks WADQS-28-B-100, the Quad to Single Small Form Factor Pluggable Adapter (100G QSFP28 to 25G SFP28 Adapter or QSA) is the world's first solution for the QSFP28 to SFP28 conversion challenge.
The QSA enables smooth, cost effective connections between a single lane transceiver/cable and a quad lane port. The QSA provides the option to connect an SFP28 transceiver or cable to a QSFP28 port of an Nx100 Gb/s switch or network card. It resolves the systems linking issues between different line rates and different form-factors used in switches and network adapters.

The QSA provides an integration solution for systems using different vendors equipment, the QSA is vendor agnostic and provides a direct path to the SFP module memory. The QSA interoperates with all major optical module and direct attached copper cables vendors. The QSA design assures minimum loss on the conversion path from the QSFP28 cage to the SFP28 receptacle. The QSA is qualified for 25GbE SFP28 transceivers meeting the Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP28) Transceiver Multi-source Agreement (MSA).
